On a wet and rainy day at Apple Valley Golf Course in the Division 1 District Golf Tournament. Freshman Deacon Kroeger carved out a one under par 71 to advance to the State Golf Tournament. Kroger needed a birdie on #16 and pars on #17 & #18 to secure his spot this weekend at FIrestone in Akron. The Freshman golfer becomes only the second Teays Valley golfer to qualify for the State Tournament. Kroger will play at Firestone Country Clubs North Course this Sunday October 12th and Monday October 13th.
